"Why Am I Not Ranked in Google?"

Some reasons why:

• Your website is too new
• You’re not registered with google analytics, google site tools, and you don’t have a sitemap
• The path to get the info ppl need on your site is too hard
• Your site is not trustworthy...
• No social media, or social media + no activity/active followers
• No privacy policy, no return policy, address information, contact phone number or shipping information
• Your site is not SSL secure (https)
• Bad url
• Your content needs improvement
• FOR NON INFO SITES not updated often
• Your site is not mobile optimized

2 More Important Reasons Than All of These:

• You haven’t been sandboxed
• You have no backlinks (or if you do- you don’t have quality backlinks)

What’s a quality link?

Examples:

• Link from authoritative ppl and orgs in your field
• Links from respected publications magazines newspapers
• Links from older sites
• Links from respected sites that rarely give out links
• Links that stay put
• Highest quality link you can get is from .gov or .edu sites

1. Is my website built technically well?

Audit your site here: https://www.semrush.com/siteaudit/

2. Is my site loading fast enough? (especially for Shopify users and Wordpress users)

Use google page speed insights to check: https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/

Keep in mind that mobile speed is more important.

3. Is my content original?

Use copyscape: https://www.copyscape.com/

4. Is my content relevant?

Google trends: trends.google.com

5. How many backlinks do I have?

There are many backlink checkers, here's one of the more popular tools: https://ahrefs.com/backlink-checker

(Keep in mind that info in these isn’t necessarily up to date)

6. Google my business (GMB)
